Recipe: Southern Iced Tea

Instructions
|
1) In a one quart sauce pan, bring 3/4 of a quart of water to a full boil.
2) Remove from heat.
3) Add 3/4 cup of white sugar.
4) Stir until the sugar is dissolved. Put the 8 tea bags in the water.
5) Steep for exactly ten minutes.
6) Remove the tea bags and discard (if you re-use the tea bags, steep for 15 minutes next time, do not use more than twice)
7) Pour the tea into a two quart pitcher
8) Fill the pitcher the rest of the way with cold water
9) Refrigerate
10) Serve cold, over ice, in a tall glass.
