Recipe: Basic Fettucine Alfredo

Instructions
|
1) Melt butter in a 3-quart saucepan over medium-high heat.
2) Mix whipping cream, flour, salt and pepper until smooth; pour into saucepan.
3) Heat to boiling.
4) Boil 1 minute, stirring frequently with wire whisk; remove from heat.
5) Stir in 2 Tablespoons cheese and 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg (or 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg).
6) Serve over fresh, cooked fettucine.
