Recipe: Oven Fried Almond Chicken

chicken breast halves, pounded to 1/2 inch thickness |

Instructions
|
1) Preheat oven to 400.
2) In flat pie plate, stir together bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, almonds, parsley, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper.
3) Pour oil into another pie plate and dip chicken.
4) Place chicken in crumb mixture to coat, then place on cookie sheet that has been sprayed with non-stick spray or covered with parchment paper.
5) Bake for 20 minutes or until juices run clear when the thickest part of chicken is pierced with tip of knife.
6) Do not turn chicken over.
